Unlike Crystal Vape, Shisha Vape or Dual Mesh Vape, Monkey Vape did not begin as a technical feature or a flavour style. Instead, it became a product identity that grew alongside the Big Puff movement, eventually developing into one of the most recognisable themes in the disposable vape industry.
The story began when manufacturers realised that memorable product names were just as important as puff counts. As disposable vapes became larger and competition intensified, simple model numbers were no longer enough to stand out. Animal-inspired branding started to appear across the market, and the Monkey series quickly became one of the most successful examples.
Early Monkey Vape devices were closely associated with 12K and 15K disposable vapes, where playful branding combined with increasingly advanced hardware. As the Big Puff market accelerated, the Monkey identity continued to evolve, appearing on products with 90K, 110K, 120K, 150K, 300K and even 450K puff capacities. Rather than representing a single device, Monkey Vape became a family of products that followed each generation of disposable vape innovation.
The Monkey series also reflected the industry's rapid move towards multi-flavour technology. Many of the best-known Monkey Vape models introduced 3 in 1, 5 in 1, 6 in 1 and 15 in 1 flavour systems, allowing users to switch between multiple flavours without changing devices. Combined with rechargeable batteries, mesh coils and digital displays, these products demonstrated that innovation was no longer measured by puff count alone.
Several well-known manufacturers adopted the Monkey concept in different ways. Products such as Bang DE Monkey, Bang Leader Monkey and Bang Legend Monkey helped establish the name across European markets, with each generation introducing larger capacities and more advanced flavour-switching systems. Over time, the Monkey branding became closely linked with flagship Big Puff devices rather than entry-level disposables.
